Groomer

Sarah

Groomer

Sarah O’Halloran has been The Groomer at Green Valley AH continuously since 1995.

Like her mother, Sarah always owned horses and dogs, they were lucky enough to keep them at their farm in U.K. At age 10 she started washing dogs to help out her mother, also a professional groomer. She practiced grooming their own dogs, who like the shoemakers children always seemed in need of a groom.

Coming to America in 1980, she met and married her husband Pete an Equine Veterinarian, they have two children. Sarah loves her job at GVAH. She’s very interested in conformation as an important aspect for the health and wellbeing of horses and dogs. She enjoys watching dog shows and looking at the latest grooming creations.

Sarah sometimes notices minor lumps and bumps or itchy ears and feet type issues as she’s grooming your dog. That’s when it’s nice to be under the umbrella of the veterinary hospital. She can look at the patient history and call the owners to see if it’s an issue the owner is aware of, or wishes the vet to look at them. She has groomed generations of dogs for more than a few owners at GVAH and never tires of caring for the sweet Doggie and Kittie friends that come in for a spa day.
